Sausage and Veggie Pasta

I call this my bachelors meal. Great one for the people starting to learn to cook and not too bad for you either!

Sausage and Veggie Pasta

easy meal for week nights

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spicy Italian sausage

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 (16 ounce) package any pasta

  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen veggies

  • 1 can crushed or chopped tomatoes

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • In a skillet, fry sausage and garlic over medium heat until no longer pink; drain, and reserve.
  • Add tomatoes to sausage and garlic, once that is warmed, add in the veggies and then red pepper flakes and simmer 5 to 10 min
  • Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes or until done; drain. Three minutes before the end of the cooking time, add veggies; drain with pasta.
  • In a large serving bowl, toss together the sausage and garlic, pasta and veggies, and Parmesan
