Dry BBQ Rub for Meat

You all know i have a smoker. I use this shit on everything (and no its not Franks Red Hot Sauce). I adapted it to my liking from Alton Browns dry rub for ribs. I keep at least a 4 times batch around at all times. The jalapeno seasoning can be found on amazon in most places.

Dry BBQ rub for Meat

Use this on all your meats you oven bake or smoke that you want a BBQ kick to them.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar, firmly packed

  • 1 tablespoons kosher salt

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon jalapeno seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

  • Mix together and store in an airtight container
